Every Tuesday from
9:30am-5:30pm we are opening our classroom to anyone that wants to come and
sew. We already have several ladies that are meeting. You can come for a
couple of hours or all day. See you soon.
September Classes
Beginning Quilting

teach you all of the techniques you need to know.
Machine Quilting

Need a little help with machine quilting? Its not as hard as you think
with the right guidance and some great tips. Wendy will give you both.
You will leave this class ready to get home and get quilting.

Dirndl Dress Shoppe

dress is embellished beautifully, making each one unique.
Learn to Hand Appliqué
Sunday Sept.12th

Students will learn how to make applique templates and how to apply the
templates to their fabric to create pattern pieces. Students will also
create a position overlaying using one of two techniques demonstrated.
Hand applique will be taught using horizontal stitch method which will
include making nice points and round curves. When completed, students
will have a small wall hanging or candle mat to show off their handy
work.
Midnight Madness Bag

The Midnight Madness bag is a fun, easy pattern that can almost be done
in one sitting. Please note that if you want to do it with the two
fabrics on the outside, you will need to purchase 1/2 yard of two
fabrics instead of what the supply list states on the pattern.
Must have full knowledge of your sewing machine. Please
bring extra 90/14 top stitching needles.

This unique dimensional quilt is fun and easy. Start with transferred
foundation, sew, fold and you're done. Choose from several designs.
November Classes
French Roses

The French Roses quilt is a really fun project that is good for
beginners and advanced quilters alike. Purchase all new fabric,
use up scraps or combine the two. Either way, the results will be
charming! This design has a rag-edge appliquéd technique for each
rose. After washing and drying the flowers will have a super soft
edge around the petals. Finished size from the pattern is
approximately 57"x57". The instructor added sashing, corner stones
and a wider border to create a quilt with a scalloped edge for an
approximate size of 73"x73".
